Sessions are Quick and Easy
We start with a conversation.
Before we do any Neurofeedback, we’ll get to know your child’s strengths and needs so that we know where to start.
Your child will receive a BrainMap session.
A technician will apply a few sensors to the scalp using medical paste and run the qEEG to collect data about the brain’s current functioning.
At Limbic OptiMind, we use FDA-approved qEEG Neurofeedback technology.
It doesn’t hurt (no zaps or pain, we promise), and there is no way to hurt the brain with Neurofeedback.
Your provider gives you an interpretation of the data and proposes a plan.
Every brain is different. That’s why your provider will take the time to interpret the qEEG data with you during the BrainMap session before proposing a plan for ongoing sessions.
We help you schedule ongoing sessions.
Our goal is to help all of our clients find peace and healing in a reasonable amount of time. We want to see our clients feel better and achieve their goals as quickly as possible.
Once your provider has determined the number of sessions needed, a member of our team will work with you to find the best days and times to schedule ongoing sessions. While the exact number of sessions varies based on the individual, we usually recommend attending Neurofeedback sessions at a rate of twice a week.
